Creativity

Eventually you begin to run out of things to balance on your dog, and have to resort to more "untraditional" items...
This one is Matt's Favorite!!!

HUNGRY!

Brock is beginning to think that whatever we put on his head he gets to eat after he is done balancing. This caused some confusion with the cupcake a few weeks ago! When he refused to finish his dinner, we got an idea...
I am sad to report that he did not finish his dinner after this. But Rylee Jo was standing nearby with a look on her face that could only be translated as "Please drop it, Please drop it!"

Eggs...

Brock has a pretty unexplainable obsession with eggs. We're not really sure where it came from, our how he even knows what they are, but he loves them. He especially loves Easter eggs. For some reason I thought dogs were color blind, but the unavoidable allure of those brightly colored treasures amaze our lovely little man...

One of my all time favorites!

Both Brock and Rylee are severely enamored with squirrels. We thought it fitting to buy them a stuffed squirrel toy, which they both adore. What you can't see in this one is Rylee looking longingly at Brock's forehead...

Cupcakes!

I made cupcakes for one of my co-workers birthdays today. When I got home from work and Matt and I finished dinner, I asked if he was going to have one of them for dessert. When Brock perked up and followed Matt to the kitchen, we got an idea...

How it all started...

It all started with a bored college student and a cute yellow lab puppy. Brock showed a talent for balancing things on his face from a young age, and when you live in a tiny little town like Pullman, WA... what else is there to do besides see what you can balance on your dog? This blog will follow the adventures of that college student, his new bride, and their well-balanced yellow lab (and a little bit of his not so well balanced black lab sister). Welcome to our lives and to the question that pesters us daily... What kind of stuff can we put on Brock?
